Cash Bar
Everyone pays for his or her own drinks.
Host Bar
Party host decides prior to event. An individual or company can Host the bar and is then responsible for the tab.
Host Drink Tickets
For host drink tickets, the host will specify either the value of each ticket or an item that the ticket it is good for~ for example, one ticket=one pop: or one ticket = $1.25. The ticket has value only when turned in to the bartender; the price of the drink is then charged to the bar tab.
Host to a Certain Dollar Amount
It is possible to Host a bar to a certain dollar amount. The amount must be decided prior to the trip. When the tab reaches the pre-set amount, the bartender will alert the Host to determine if the Host bar will continue or be terminated.
Host/Cash Combination
It is also possible to combine a Host/cash bar. For example, the Host can choose to provide all of the beer and pop, while guests pay cash for all other drinks.
